PHP's iTECH Center is a preview and demonstration center for Assistive Technology (AT). PHP offer parents and professionals the opportunity to gain "hands-on" experience with assistive devices and instructional software before making a decision on which ones best suit their needs. Let PHP's AT staff assist you in exploring and accessing high/low tech options through a guided "Techsploration" in our AT Lab.

PHP's iTECH Center offers the following:

  • *Techsploration - Our Signature Service: Learn more about Assistive Technology and experience the tools "hands on" through a guided session in our iTECH demonstration lab.
  • Technology for Infants and Preschoolers (T.I.P.) TIP is an early intervention program that introduces young children to technology through play. Funding available for San Andreas Regional Center clients ages 0-3.
  • Trainings Trainings related to assistive technology are available to parent groups, school districts or community agencies. Choose from topics such as Overview of Assistive Technology, Assistive Technology for Learning Disabilities, Computer Access, Communication:Low-High Tech, Software for Visual Learners, Assistive Technology for ADHD, Technology for Infants and Pre-Schoolers and Toy Adaptation. Our services also include trainings to individuals and small groups on specific software programs. If you are interested in scheduling a training for your group, please give us a call.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist Available to address communication issues of your child/student. Extensive background in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
  • Assessments Our AT certified staff is qualified to do full assessments in the school, home, or other settings.
  • Toy Adaptation Bring in your battery operated toy to be adapted for switch use $8/toy, switch not included.
